Braxton hicks/mucus plug

I'm a little concerned and not sure if I should call dr. FTM here. Between 35-36 weeks, all day I've had wayyyyyy more pressure down there than usual, her head has been down for weeks now. I stood up earlier and a lot of mucus came out and for the last 40 mins I've been having strong Braxton hicks every 5 mins, not painful just uncomfortable and my belly gets rock hard, what should I do??!!
