Long-distance Relationships

Hi ladies,

I'm in a long-distance relationship with my SO. It's been almost a year since we've been living apart.

He is in France now, and in September I'll be in Belgium, so I'll be closer!

But I'll be doing 2 years of school, which means two more years of distance (he might end up in the US for a job...-,-).

So we will be apart for maybe 3years total...and then I hope things will clear up and we can finally settle down. I love the guy, so the waiting and the distance doesn't mean much. Sure, it sucks when I need his physical closeness, but goodness...I have learned so much about him, and about MYSELF. I think every couple should experience an LDR...it was the LDR that tested my commitment, and made me realize, "Whoa, I found the one."

Just curious, how many of you are in/were in an LDR and for how long?
