I just had my daughter (first child) last Thursday and from the moment she was born she's been a great feeder!! Unfortunately for me for the first half day I had her I had no idea what I was doing and I was letting her latch onto the tip of my nipples. Needles to say.. she demolished them. After that I've been having her latch the right way and re positioning her if the initial latching pain doesn't go away quickly. However, my nipples are still bleeding and are still very very very sore especially when she's first latching...

I am very committed to breast feeding her but I just want to know is there something I can do to help the pain? I am already using the creams and the antibiotics. This morning her latch hurt me so bad I had to cry out.
