how long did it take you to have a period after your MC?

I lost my baby march 25... I heard you're supposed to have another period 28 days later, but it's been 33 already. 
Should I give it another week? How long did it take you to have your next period?

UPDATE: I'm pregnant!!! Levels were at 16 Wednesday, Friday was 86 (today is Saturday)
It was a huge jump and I'm a little worried but I have faith it'll go well this time :)

Naval hospital had me come back in today and my HCG levels are at 16!!!!  I'm going back in Friday for another test to make sure they're increasing. If they are, you know what that means!!!! 😍😍😍😍

I had to have a partial D & C at the tail end of my miscarriage. It took 5 weeks for my period to start up again. Even then it was extremely heavy and more uncomfortable than normal. I'm sooo sorry for your loss! ❤️
