im getting a mirena IUD fitted.. any tips to be less nervous?

so i booked an appointment to get a mirena fitted because ive wanted something other than condoms to rely on and the doctor recommended it. i do want it but im really nervouse because its a guy and no one appart from my boyfriend has ever seen the downstairs area. im really scared incase it hurts too but mostly just worried about opening my legs to the doctor dude. is there any tips that could help?
