night light?

For those moms sharing a room with their little ones, do you keep a light or night light on during the night? I keep a light on so I can glance over at my son from time to time during the night, but I'm also concerned it's affecting his sleep and mine!

I use one of those salt lamps it's adjustable so at bedtime I dim it low and it's not bright more of a warm orange glow just enough light that I can look over and see him in his pack n play

I use one of those tap lights, dim enough not to wake my spouse or the baby, but enough light I can find or do what I need

I have a nightlight, it's pretty dim so i dont think it bothers anyone. Turning the room light on for feedings and changes was much more disruptive for our sleep

The wifi router in our room has a blue light so I can see pretty well but it's far enough away from his pack n play that it doesn't disturb his sleep. I still use the flashlight on my phone to change him and it doesn't affect his sleeping at all

I use a nightlight it's right below his bassinet so it's dimmed by being blocked most of the way, I nurse him laying down at night so it helps me get up to get him and put him down gently without fumbling around. It doesn't seem to bother him.

I leave my closet light on with the door cracked so I can see baby while nursing or changing diapers. I never want to turn on a light that'll wake her up more.

Ill sometimes use the light from our ceiling fan since its a dimmer and we only have one bulb screwed in

We have a nightlight so I can see when I'm doing those midnight feedings. When I want to see his face I look through the baby camera (even though he's literally 2 feet away from my bed).

I do! A dim one but I need to see her face! And she sleeps fine in daylight so o think it's ok. :)
