Used Monistat 3 for the first time

I'm pretty sure I have a YI but because of some health insurance problems, I couldn't go and see a doctor so instead I bought Monistat 3. I injected the thing into my Vagina and in about ten minutes or so, I felt such a horrible itching sensation but it's gone now. I just need a bit of guidance on what to expect for these few days and what happens when I wake up. Any comments would be very much helpful.
