can a mild UTI cause intense pain? 😨

I'm almost 24 wks and the past three days I've had intense Uti symptoms (urge to urinate, burning urethra) along with pelvic bone aches. I went to the Dr's and there was a trace amount of luekocytes in my urine so he gave he macrobid (antibiotics) as a 'precaution.'

I took one last night and it did absolutely nothing. I know it's only been one dose, but when I got out of the shower I noticed a lot of white milky fluid (leukorrhea) leaking from my vagina. I'm concerned now that it's not a UTI and some sort of more serious vaginal infection.

I know luekorrhea is normal during pregnancy, but along with intense bladder burning? I'm worried about having undiagnosed PID...

Well one dose definitely will do nothing.  But if the extra discharge is a new symptom call your doctor again.

Drink a gallon of water daily
100% no sugar added cranberry juice
Cut sugar and processed foods from your diet
Take a Probiotic daily and if symptoms don't improve within 48 hours get further medical treatment

Give it a few more doses, but if the symptoms don't start easing or get worse, I'd call your doctor.
