Do you support interracial couples?

Im currently in high school and we had a Black History Assembly last week. There was a spoken word piece that a girl had done and she said, "I wish interracial couples weren't looked down upon.." She said something about interracial couples and she was given in school suspension because it wasn't approved by the administration.
