How long does it take?

I started bleeding yesterday, doctor confirmed there was no longer anything on the ultrasound. My hcg had dropped from the week before. This morning I had major contraction like cramping for about an hour. Passed a lot of sizable clots and now it's tapered off. How many days of this will there be? I was 6 weeks 3 days yesterday.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my baby at 13 weeks, 2 days. I bled for a month straight. Then, two weeks of no bleeding and yesterday (6 weeks after my D and E) I have gotten my period. It's different for everyone.

I'm so sorry for your loss. When i lost my baby i was supposed to be around 10w but baby measured at 6 and a half. I bled for 14 days plus 3 days of very light spotting. So, yeah, it can be different for everyone. I'm very sorry you're in this situation. Take care.

When I miscarried, the cramping stopped after I passed the tissue. After that, I bled like a period for a couple of days. The bleeding stopped completely after about a week or so. I was technically 12 weeks, but the size of the sac was measuring closer to 6. I'm so sorry you are experiencing this. Good luck!

Its different every time sweetheart, I've lost 4 and 2 of which were bad for a day or two and then tapered off, one I needed medical assistance with and one that was so bad I was in agony for a whole week, throwing up, migraines, cramped over, needed meds then too but avoided a d&c! So sorry for your loss, it's heartbreaking! X

Most people only have heavy bleeding for a day or so. Then it kind of tapers off. But everyone is different. Sorry for your loss :(
