In a school shooting, would you rather have a teacher getting their gun or getting their kids to safety?

Fire/active shooter drills teach you to leave all personal possessions where they are and immediately follow the directions. 
   
The duration of an active shooter incident is usually under 7 min and 56% result in the shooter committing suicide. (FBI)
   
According to the FBI, mass shooters are taken down by a civilian 4% of of the time. Unarmed citizens ended a significant number (13%) of events.  
   
The average time a school can perform a drill can take 5-15 min
   
Department of Homeland Security research reveals that the average duration of an active shooter incident at a school is 12.5 minutes
   
An average of 23.1 students fill the typical American primary school classroom, in lower secondary schools, the average American class size is 24.3 students.
If there aren't gun free zones that would mean HS students aould also be able to carry a gun to school. 
   
(Side note: Schools are often discussed but The majority of the shootings took place in a business.  Almost 70% of those shooters were NOT employees or former employees at the business they shot up.)
