please help. ❌

So I've been cramping for the last 3 days pretty bad. My period isn't supposed to be here for another week. Today I went to the bathroom and passed, what looked like clotted discharge. It also felt like passing a blood clot while on period. Please help. Is it normal? Should I get an appointment with my dr? I was taking to the girls at work today who said, she did that when she was pregnant and another said it could be just clumped up discharge.
