Tracking pregnancy weight gain?

I was considered obese prior to pregnancy at 218. I was really sick until around 16 weeks and lost a total of 17 pounds putting me at 201. Since then, I have gained 3 pounds and am now at 22+2. Since I am obese, I want to keep an accurate track of my weight and nutrition to keep my little girl and myself healthy. So, my question is am I tracking my weight gain from my prepregnancy weight or from the lowest weight since?
