upper GI for reflux anyone?

Anyone who's baby has reflux gotten an upper GI barium study?? So we got one today and the radiologist said that it was one of the most severe he has ever seen, I'm curious if anyone has had it so bad to where they had to go to GI for it or just diagnosed and medicated through their pediatrician? We are having weight gaining issues and throwing up after every feeding.
