Kidney infection?

Question

Has anyone had a kidney infection? What were the symptoms? 
I'm having terrible pain in the lower right side of my back, frequent urination, not being able to empty my bladder, i should be hydrated but my urine is still dark... I go see the doctor Monday for my regular ob appointment but I'm thinking maybe i need to see someone sooner?!

Yes...it lasted for a month and I was really sick. Out of no where I had sharp pains on my back side and I felt nauseous. I was about 2 hours away from home and we decided to head home because i wasn't feeling well at all. I had no appetite and my stomach felt like I had diarrhea but I didn't. I looked up symptoms online and saw I had a kidney infection possibly. Since it was late I went to the ergent care center because on our way home the pain got worse and worse. They gave me a shot in my butt to help me from not getting sick. The shot was so worth it. I was on antibiotic and bleed when I peed for a week and just felt awful. Hurry and go to the doctor asap because i didn't wait and I still was sick for a long time.
