tore toe nail

Im not so sure where to post this but i was mopping & i had sandals on & i accidentally hit my toe nail with the hard plastic part & it hurted so much until a minute later i noticed it started bleeding then i could tell it tore off from one side. Will my nail grow back normal? I applied antibiotics but should i also visit the doctor?
