Bug bites??? Need help...

So a few days ago I noticed some itching on my chest. I thought it was just maybe a pimple coming in so I didn't think much of it. Well it's been a few days and the itching has increased and now I have a bunch of welts on my chest/breast. They are swollen and painful but really itchy. I've noticed some itching in my armpit area and the back of my arm but there's no bumps. I'm wondering if it's spider bites. I also just found out I'm pregnant, on Friday. What do you think??

I may suggest a dermatologist because it could be eczema. Eczema can be allergy related which could warrant an allergist or completely not. Any recent soaps, sprays, lotion, or detergent changes?

Bug bites freak me out because I'm paranoid of bed bugs.

Are antihistamines permitted during pregnancy? 1 generic cetirizine gets me through 24h if my eczema is bothersome. Then I don't even use a cream just lotion.

So I went to the doctor last week and she said it is not shingles, but probably bug bites and to just put extra strength Benadryl cream on the bites. The thing is, is the itching radiates to my armpit, down my right arm (bicep and tricep) and into my shoulder blade area. No additional bumps/bites though. The bumps on my chest have cleared up a little bit they turn into what look like a white head and then dried up and scabs over. It is so ugly. It makes me want to crawl out of my skin. I'm worried I'm using to much Benadryl but I can't stand that itching! I'm 4w4d and I'm wondering if it has something to do with me being pg... This is my first.
