phones and secrecy
So my partner and I have been together almost 3 years. From the beginning we were open with our phones. Nothing was off limits as we both trusted each other and never needed to snoop or anything.
Then a year ago he started hiding his phone. Which was weird as we never did that. So one day I picked it up and just looked. I felt bad for not trusting him in that second. But it confirmed the tiny thought I had. He had been talking to multiple girls on snapchat. Not saving the chats and had streaks with them for more than 2 weeks. He knew only one of them and the rest he didn't know at all.
I called him out on it and said what the hell is this? And he went on about how I was overreacting and didn't understand.
So we never spoke about it for a while. Until it all become too much for me and I told him look I need to speak about this because it's eating at me.
So we did and you know I thought it went well. Then the hiding happened again. This time we went to bed and I waited until he fell asleep. I know I'm not in the right for doing that. But again, I found shit. This time with a girl I used to be friends with that he's never met before, I stopped being friends with her because she spoke to my ex behind my back while I was with him.
So I lied on the floor crying about what I saw and that only two weeks prior we had spoken and cleared everything up.
Now it's been months since then and I've been trying to rebuild my trust with him. But he still hides his phone with his life.
He literally sleeps with him phone in his pocket every time I stay over. Which is just crazy to me. I leave my phone on charge where he can go on it whenever he wants.
So again I called him out on this bullshit he's pulling and he tells me and get this "it gives me really bad anxiety when you ask to see my phone"
What the hell does that mean??
