only eating on one side!

My 4 month old oh boy okay so we had a huge nursing problem a few weeks back, I kicked it into high gear to get my supply back up and hit nursing longer... well he was doing FANTASTIC. But now he will only eat 5-10 mins one side then MAYBE 3 mins on the other side before be decides he's got some things to get off his mind and gets to talking ( so cute but ahh! ) so not only am I getting engorged he's also getting hungry sooner. Should I be trying to get him to eat longer? I usually will encourage it for a while longer but won't force it. I've tried in a dark room and everything to keep him from being distracted but it doesn't help. Pic is him currently striking up a conversation. 😩😍🤷🏼‍♀️
