Opinions on not telling the dad?

So I have been talking to this guy for a while and we went on two dates and I just found out I'm pregnant. I have always wanted a baby but I thought I'd have it all planned out. My issue is that I don't have any intentions of seeing the dad again. He has anger problems and is just weirder than I thought he was. I don't want to tell him I'm pregnant cause I'm scared he will freak out and come hurt me or something. What should I do?!

In that situation I wouldn't say shit to the guy. I would keep my baby and go on with my life. You don't need to be binded to a crazy freak, and put your kid through that.

I think you need to tell him. It's his kid. It doesn't mean you need a relationship. I would be open and say "I'm pregnant. I didn't have any intentions of a serious relationship with you and I still don't, but I'm not getting rid of it"

I just know I would be hurt if someone didn't tell me about my kid regardless of the relationship

If he was good enough to sleep with and he isn't a danger, you have to tell him.  It's the right thing to do

Honestly, he doesn't seem like a good guy, so I would not tell the dad. I know it is not the right thing to do, but your life could be much harder if you have to deal with his craziness as well. You could also stop seeing him now, and tell him about the baby later on, at the end of the pregnancy. That way he can't ask you to abort etc. Do you have a good job and support system?

If i wasn't dangerous i would say that you shouldn't keep your child from it's dad....but in this case i can't say i wouldnt do the same.
