Fertility Medications & Endometriosis

I'm currently going into my 5th month of ttc (I've been tracking ovulation with OPKs, taking prenatals and BD about every 2-3 days). I had a laparoscopy for my Endometriosis in January of 2016 but I've been having endo symptoms again for the past ~8 or so months. How long did those who are ttc with endo wait before getting another surgery or trying a fertility medication (or IUI/IVF) to get pregnant and what was your experience? Thanks so much for sharing, I'm just trying to figure out what my next step should be.
