How would you feel?

Question

My fiancé asked me if I would be comfortable with taking care of his son while he's at work without his mother knowing? I never met his son but once because me and the mother aren't on good terms.

I wouldn't do it. I would tell him I would like the mother to be told and set up a meeting

I wouldn't do it. Put yourself in that mother's shoes for a minute. There is no way in 3 different hells I would be ok with the father of my kid asking his girlfriend who I've never met& haven't given consent to, to watch my child. That is a disaster waiting to happen if she finds out& I wouldn't blame her.

I wouldn't be comfortable watching a kid I've never met, especially without the mothers consent.

If you are a responsible adult that can take  care of the child and you want to help your man out why not eventually his mother will come to terms with it and if not there is nothing really she can do as long as you dont do drugs and don't have a bad criminal record.... But in response to other peoples comments. How do you get to know the kid if you don't spend one on one time with him or her???  Just make sure the father tells you all of the allergies and do's and don't.... You will be fine.. :-) good luck hope this helps

While the child is in the fathers care he makes the decisions..... While he is in the mothers are he makes the decisions.... The father has every right to make a decision for his child whether the mother agrees or not because the child is in his care....
