I've heard a lot of parents celebrate little things when their kids are sick because they don't know how many real birthdays they'll have so they make more?!? My best friend in highschool had stage 4 leukaemia and we celebrated her half birthday well she was in the hospital. Besides that and maybe your babies 6 month i don't see a reason

I would for my baby's 6 month birthday. Just that one though.

My birthday is 7 days before Christmas so when I was young, I never did anything for my birthday because it was cold out and most of my friends were unavailable that close to Christmas.
So my mom decided we would start celebrating my birthday on June 18 instead of December 18.
When I was little, I loved it. Now, I don't have friends anyway so it doesn't matter what day I get drunk by myself and cry 😂

The only time I've seen people do this, is when it's about kids. Most of the time it's because they have a summer birthday and can't celebrate it at school. Other than that, what's the point?

I don't for myself or my kids. But my friend had their baby on Christmas Eve, so they do one for him.
