I'm still in disbelief,
because I'm 36 and I've NEVER been pregnant,
because we've been trying to have a baby for nearly 3 years,
because I've gone through 6 IUI and one IVF egg retrieval, unsuccessfully,
because my last period wasn't great,
because after my last period I had mystery fluid in my uterus,
because I was on birth control pills two weeks last cycle which oversuppressed my ovaries,
because we tried to do an IVF egg retrieval this cycle but called it off after four days of meds only showed 2-3 developing follicles,
because we had sex JUST ONCE this cycle,
because my bbt chart is screwy this cycle and my current temps aren't all that high,
because I didn't have any early symptoms and only took a home pregnancy test because of the 1% chance I could be preggo, and if so, I didn't want my acupuncturist to stimulate my period today,
because I'm afraid to be too happy,
BUT....
I'm pregnant, and my hcg levels are consistent with my cycle. And now I KNOW, regardless if this pregnancy sticks, I can get pregnant.
