Is it okay to dye it while pregnant? Also, I've heard it can come out a weird shade while pregnant due to hormones, is this true?

My hairdresser was pregnant with her boy. Day in and day out she worked. Her doctor actually said that household chemicals are worse then hair dye. So she tried to ask him for a doctors note not to clean the house! Haha🤣😂

He is in high school now and straight A student.
