negative blood test but still pregnant? anyone?

I'm on CD 50, no period and what I thought were very faint hpt's.
Had a blood test done yesterday morning and got the results today. Negative. Hcg level was less than one, apparently. 
Has anyone had this happen to them but went on to find out they actually were pregnant? I have plenty if not all of the symptoms. No signs of period anytime soon..

I had the same thing happen to me and unfortunately it ended up being a chemical pregnancy. Started bleeding a few days later. Unfortunately blood tests are accurate and I'd say that the same happened to you. They do say that you are more fertile after a cp and it worked for us.  I did get pregnant that cycle after the bleeding stopped and am now 30 weeks this Thursday. Best of luck to you

Happened to me. Got an early positive at about 12dpo (28day cycle) and ran in. Negative blood. Found out that the docs blood test isn't any more sensitive than first response. It's actually less sensitive. Please keep in mind that symptoms don't make a Pregnancy, tho.

There's two kinds of blood tests for pregnancy. One is as accurate as a urine test that says yes or no and the second one is a hcg count. Are you sure that it was the hcg ones they have you? Because I went to a lab and got a negative blood test and then at my doctors a few days later the hcg blood test was positive. It's way more accurate and I was only 2-3 weeks pregnant.

I got a negative blood test at 8DPO, an inconclusive blood test at 9 DPO, and a positive blood test at 13DPO.
