How to tell spouse your pregnant!

Looking For advice on home to tell my husband that we are pregnant. He is in the military and will be away for the next month. Normally I could probably wait (actually that's not true at all) but I will be seeing his whole family at his sisters bridal shower later this month and I know someone will catch me not drinking. I want to tell him but I don't want it to be in a text or a phone call. This is our first pregnancy.
