So I'm only 17 but my boyfriend is 20 and pursuing the career of a Police Officer and I'm terrified.. It WAS my dream job but in Canada it's starting to get scary and sadly Police Officers have been shot and killed and I'm scared I'll lose my SO.. How's the life as a wife of a police officer? Is he constantly working? Any time off? How many hours does he usually work? I just don't want him life just involved in work,we plan on having children in the future and I agree helping people is great but I'm scared for his safety.
