Possibly pregnant or no?

Ok ladies I just had a period from the 23rd to the 29th and a few days after that on the 1st of may I started spotting/bleeding again. I have a very regular period almost to the dot. Me and my husband have sex regularly. I took a test yesterday morning and it was negative. Is it too early to test or what?

Update: when I figured out I was pregnant with my first child I had a period (or bled for a week).. I'm just asking about yalls experience with this or what y'all think. I've been pregnant before so yes I know how it goes thanks!

My positive didn't show up until at least 4 weeks.  It may be too soon to tell.

You have to ovulate first. After that it takes 6-12 days for implantation. Then it takes 2-3days for hcg to double. You're way too early

Way too early. Test two weeks after sex and that will be accurate. It takes 6-10 days to implant and then days to build up enough HCG to show up on a hpt.

Was it a normal period or different? You can always ask a Dr for blood test.

You cannot have a period and be pregnant. You can have bleeding during pregnancy but that's a cause for concern and would require a call to your ob at the very least.
You cannot test positive for pregnancy until approximately 2-3 weeks after ovulation. You'd need to wait until very close to or until when your next period would be due to test.
