How to "air out" baby boy butt?

My baby has a bad rash on his butt and I want to air it out to help the process of healing. He pees and poops almost non stop (he's 1month). How can I do this without making a mess?

Put him in the tub, with no water. Lay him on a towel or in his bathtub and let it air out. If he pees or poops, it's easier to clean up 👍🏻

I see your dilemma as you probably don't want him peeing in his own face lol boys are notorious for that. But lay a towel down and lay baby on his tummy, obviously only with you there never leave baby unattended on tummy. Anyhow having him on his tum will allow his butt to air out and if he pees he won't be shooting himself in the eye with it lol

I actually had to start doing this also. I used those puppy potty training pads! There cheap and work great.

Our son had bad diaper rash and all we did was pay him dry after cleaning him.  Worked great!  No need to air dry :)

My mom use to put us on towels but the puppy training pads are a great idea !! They are cheap and you won't get your towels dirty . Also while letting him air out I would try coconut oil after a few minutes of letting him you can find it in the baby isle at target .. I use it on my sons rashes (he seemed at time he would start to get yeast infection) I would put it on and after 2 days he would be clear !

I would try laying him down with a soft cloth 
 iaper just placed under his butt and over his privats it will let it air out and catch anything that comes out

My kiddo is 5 months now and so far no diaper rashes. What I do is lather him up with A&D after every diaper change. The A&D acts as a barrier between the pee/poop and his skin. He goes all night without 1 diaper change (unless he poops) and no rash whatsoever.

Take diaper off and put the baby on a blanket or something that you can wash and let his bump breathe

Try tummy time without a diaper on a puppy pad or just on top so something that would soak up anything. If not that, just use extra strength diaper rash cream every diaper change.
