violent hiccups after feeding?

My DD gets really hard (seems painful) hiccups usually after feeding. I have tommy tippie bottles and I don't think she's sucking in air bc I watch and make sure she feeds good. Is there a way I can try and prevent her from getting these? I feel so bad because they seem to really hurt her :(

I am switching between pumping and formula and I was wondering if maybe that had anything to do with it? - and that's because I am not pumping enough to feed her all day and night. My milk is coming in very slowly but I'm doing the best I can!

My son is 2 months. He gets hiccups probably 50-60% of the time after breastfeeding. I think it's something that just happens to some babes. They should outgrow it.

Mine had crazy hiccups in the womb and then still had them once she was out, it died down after a few months. She's 15 months now with maybe has it a 2-3 times a month.

If a don't burp my ds good enough he gets the hiccups that never seem to end. We are just breast feeding
