May Baby ended up a March Baby

Kerrisha
Meet little Miss Naila Yasmin ❤️ Our #TinyTot. Went in for a prenatal appointment on March 14 (my husband's and I first anniversary) and my pressure was 174/101. I was sent across the road to the hospital on 4 hour observation. I was put on Magnesium and had one steroid shot. My pressure was not down after those 4 hours and I got transported to a hospital in Jax with a neonatal division. After 3 days my pressure was still sky high. I was on baby monitors and blood pressure checks every 15 minutes. They had me on potassium and continued with magnesium. I was given my second dose of steroids to help with baby's lung development. I also had to have a catheter due to the magnesium. On the third day my babies heart rate was up and down. The doctor came in later that evening and said that they may have to take her.. At 8:00 I was prepped to go to the delivery room. I sat on the edge of the table and the anesthesiologist gave me my epidural. I had to be tilted back so that the epidural could take effect 🙄 My husband came in and I was bawling and shaking all over. They gave me some extra oxygen and started the operation. The whole time my husband had to talk to me and keep me calm. After plenty of tugging and pulling our little one was born at 9:38 pm on March 17 weighing 3 pounds and 5 ounces. 😍 I fell asleep right after 😂 So happy she's here. She had to spend 40 days in the NICU due to minor complications and is now home and happy at 5 pounds 8 ounces 😊
