Don't really know where to put this but anyway.. Why is preferring to stay in and read a book or watch a movie instead of going out to a club with overly loud same tune music and getting plastered considered a loser thing to do?

It's not called being a loser it's called being an introvert. There are many introverted people in the world and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. How can someone logically say that it's better to get crazy drunk and spend all night in a club where you can't even hear each other talk?

It's called being an adult and knowing that you can have just as much if not more fun doing these things instead of being in a club getting drunk.

If I had my way I would never leave my house...but someone has to pay for the house...so reluctantly I go to work and the grocery store

There's nothing super introverted or loser-y about this- actually, you're within the vast majority of people, even though most would prefer a good movie. Still, most people who have close friends and family whom they feel they can comfortably share their lives with on a regular basis will consistently choose an evening in. There is nothing romantic or calm about a club.
