37 week appointment!

I had my weekly appointment today ( 37 weeks and 6 days ). My midwife checked my cervix and said I was about 3 cm and 70% effaced. I did have a few contractions when I was there and she felt it and said to come in if they get closer together together but so far they just come and go. My next appointment is next Thursday and she said she'd see me then, if I make it that far. Any mama's have any idea on how to speed things up? ( really not in the mood for sex or nipple stimulation if i may add lol )
