when should my period come after birth?

Hey everyone I just had a we baby the middle of march, I'm not breastfeeding and still haven't took my period is this normal or should I be worried and take a pregnancy test! My we girl will be 7 weeks on Saturday.. so scared is it to early to take a pregnancy test or what?

I got mine at 11 months. Used condoms for protection.

You should get your period either a week or 2 after your lochia bleeding or after 8 weeks.. it takes a while for your body to get back into routine but if taking a test will calm you a bit than do so, with my first i got my period back at 10 weeks pp 3 weeks after my lochia bleeding
