Will my belly drop?

Question

The more I've been reading they say your belly drops when the baby's head engages. My doc has been saying that his head has been engaged since 32 weeks (presently 36 weeks). Therefore, since it's already "engaged" will my belly drop?  My doc did a pelvic test a few days ago and although he said my cervix was still closed, he could feel the head. Just curious cause I don't want to drive myself crazy looking for my belly to drop if that's not even an option.

Baby doesn't drop most likely until you are in labor. My baby is head down I'm 3cm dialated and doctor can feel the babies head but it's still not considered dropping.

I haven't dropped but when I was checked they said his head is very low. So maybe it won't happen til he's halfway out the door

I don't think everyone actually drops. I'm 37 weeks. Baby has been head down since about 20 but at my growth scan the other day they said his head is very low. I didn't get checked due to things I've got coming up this weekend and I was afraid it would kickstart something haha. But my belly hasn't dropped at all.

Mine didn't. This is the day before I went in to labor, and my bump was still high.
