New OB said not to use EPO?

Question

I'm 36wks with baby #4. I'm with a new OB and she said she doesn't want me to use evening primrose oil because it can cause the contraction to restrict blood flow to the placenta. With my last baby my OB recommended using it. Anyone ever had this happen??

My doctor strongly recommended against it for the same reason.

I've been using it since the beginning of 36wks and it's been working great! Each appointment since, I've had progressions in dilation and effacement. All it does is ripen the cervix.
