Who else is tires of....

So baby is due in 2 days and I am so over the "update me" messages. No I don't wa t to update you i told everyone from the get that even when we were on the way to the hospital they would not get a call until it was time for them to come meet baby. Why can't people respect my boundaries??!! This morning I sent out a blanket text just telling everyone that we will be sure to keep them informed but please be patient with us over the next few days as we prepare ourselves to be new parents.

I'm 36 weeks & I sent out a "warning" telling everyone when I go into labor, there will be no texts, calls, or posts. When I have him, there will still be no alerts. Until I'm home & decide to share.

So over those calls and texts. ESPECIALLY when they come from ppl who were pretty much MIA your entire pregnancy. Now all of a sudden they want to visit etc. I'm not announcing anything until I am home settled and ready and still won't be allowing visitors to come help aka hold baby.

I've been pretty lucky because most of these texts for me have been "hope you're feeling ok!"   Even if they're digging for information, they're doing it in a respectful way.
