My friend brought her dog over who has kennel cough?? Help?

I invited my close friend over today and asked if she was sick and she said she isn't. She brought her puppy with her and I thought it was fine and then as she was leaving her puppy coughed a couple times and I asked if he was choking and she said no he has had kennel cough for a couple weeks and is on antibiotics for it. My question is can my infant catch it from the dog?? He is 6 weeks old and the puppy at one point licked his nose and of course was all over the house. I'm so upset that she brought the dog that's sick 🙁
