Nighttime breast feeding?!?

Question

How is everyone staying awake during breastfeeding at night?Now that my son doesn't need much help with his latching I have been drifting off with him in my arms/ laying beside me. I am so scared with all the SIDs warnings but his early morning feeds are side snuggle time too. Any tips ? Or having the same issues?

I tivoed a bunch of shows and watch tv while feeding.

I do the side laying position and let myself drift a little bit while he eats...i usually wake up about 10-15 mins later and hes all done and i haven't missed any sleep... it's the only way i can breast feed at night and not die of sleep deprivation

I ended up friending one of our nurses from post delivery since we liked her so much. She works nights so I message her if I'm feeling sleepy. Otherwise I'm on here or  shopping Amazon for things I think of. Like Kaylee will outgrow her halo swaddle and I'd like the muslin fabric one...

I hAve to have a light on or else I will drift off and I too am really worried about falling asleep. I turn my bathroom light on and keep the door closed mostly so it's not too bright and my husband can still sleep. I also feed from one boob and  change baby then feed from the other. He hates being changed and cries so that wakes me up a bit half way through.
