Would I be wrong to completely cut them off?

A little background. My fiancé and I have been together for 4 years and we are expecting our first child together next month. I'm Jamaican and he's Haitian. From the first time he introduced me to his mother, I've always felt like she never liked me, for the simple fact that I'm not Haitian and it turned out to be true because she told him that he was better off with his ex,simply because she's hatian. I didn't let it bother me because stuff like that are irrelevant ,especially if you're not going to say it to my face🙄. Anyways, I guess she figured I'm not the one to kiss ass so she started complaining to my fiancé that I don't call her nor text her and whatnot. (I'm not with the fake ness).

Long story short, so I recently had my baby shower Saturday and his parents were a no show. The reason for them not showing up is the dad went to go get a haircut but when he came back he said everyone was gone smh. I smell bullshit because EVERYONE has their own vehicle,so they didn't plan on coming in the first place, they even sent the gift with the little sister so I knew they weren't planning on coming AT ALL.Now my problem is that ,since we've been together his parents have NEVER met my parents, they're not supportive in anything that has to do with both of us and they show NO effort or interest . They weren't even at our proposal because I guess missing church for ONE night was more important than a special time in their sons life🙄. I've invited them to my graduation and they never came, invited them to a cookout they NEVER came so I'm just over it. My fiancé was pissed on Saturday and he still haven't spoken to them yet because he felt so bad they didn't show up and everyone was asking for them smfh. So I'm just over them , I won't disrespect them but they will remain on my block list. There's so much more but I don't want you ladies reading too much lol

You're in it for him n only him, not her or her or her or him or anyone else :) it's u two against the world now. 
My biological mother doesn't like my choice in life but she has to respect it n deal with it because she has no choice but to live and protect

See how they respond to the child once it's born. If they aren't receptive then don't make time for them.

Omg I'm so sorry you have to go through that and this is your first child, I pray it gets better for you guys and you wouldn't be wrong to cut them completely off, but my advice to you is to pray about it cause God can take care of things for better then what we can.🤞🏾😊🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I know I'm a bit late but my daughter's father is Haitian and when I tell you I have so many problems with that side of the family. His stepdad constantly tell him that he should have got a Spanish woman instead of me. They did not come to my baby shower after constantly tell me that they were coming and then the day of no call no show. My child's father tells me all the time that they talk about me behind my back and that I shouldn't trust them. I think it's just Haitians in general if you're not them then you're an outsider. I am trying to and I have tried to not let them get under my skin I'm working on it I've never argued with them but they are pretty annoying especially now it's a child involved. I even had a situation where I waited four hours for them to show up and when they finally came they did nothing but piss me off by women are mouth but I have to do with it because that's my daughter's grandparents but there are boundaries.

I know this isnt popular and honestly probably have no idea how i feel. But i would suggest keeping an "open" door and open mind so thatbwhen it comes down to it you are not the one to blame. Keep inviting them and try calling  just to say hello. If it still doesnt work them lastly have your fiance set up a dinner woth the four of you to talk and if that doesnt work.... continue in the direction of your own happiness and do your best to make sure they fet to be apart of the kids lives.
