Ftm baby sick? please help

My daughter is almost 7 weeks old. She's had a stuffy Nose and my dad said she sounded congested yesterday's. She's ebf if that matters. Her temp is 99.2. BUT my child NEVER cried and she's been awful tonight. Constantly screaming and crying. I've tried skin to skin and constant cuddles and rocking. She just acts different and like something wrong. Any help

Babies have really small nasal passages. They often sound stuffy. If there is no runny nose or colored mucous baby is not sick.

My baby was congested and had a stopped up nose at 2 weeks old. Get some saline drops her doctor told me to go get them. It really helped my daughter. You can get them at a drug store a walmart, maybe a grocery store. But it really helped my daughter! I hope your baby gets to feeling better!!!

Call your doctor and ask if its okay to get some nasal spray. Follow the directions on it and use that thing that sucks all the gunk out. If its a cold you'll just have to wait it out until it passes. I hope your baby feels better 😊

Vics Humidifier, saline drops (2-6drops for newborns n infants), n Nasal Aspirator. We chose the Nasal Aspirator instead of the frida bc it plays music, easy to clean, n it does all of the work. We do 3drops in each nostril, wait 3-5min, n than use the aspirator.

Saline in the nose and use a bulb syringe to suck out loose snot. Also go into a bathroom and shut the door. Turn on the shower on high and let the room fill with steam. I've had to sit in my bathroom several sleepless nights with my son when he got sick.

Congestion is not really anything to worry about. My son is two months and snores like it's his job.. you can try shooting some saline up your baby's nose to loosen up mucus and using something like a nosefrida to suck it out. But if you're ever really concerned and your baby doesn't seem like themselves, and never hesitate to contact your pediatrician.

Congestion could be from an ear infection. That how we knew my boys were ill. If her temp doesn't go down I would take her in. Especially if it gets higher.
