5 week old spits up/vomits constantly

This has been an on going issue for about 2 weeks. The doctor said he may just still be adjusting to feedings but to me it seems like an unusual amount of spit up/vomit. It's never ending 😢 he spits up right after every feeding and then a couple more times until the next feeding... so it's just a never ending cycle. He's soaking numerous bibs and outfits per day and I just feel so bad for him. Is this typical in breastfed babies?
