Not feeling like announcing pregnancy!!!

So far only my parents and a few of my coworkers know. We have our 12 week scan on Friday and we're going to tell my husband's family the week after. I actually like that this is something only my hubby and I know and I feel like my in laws might get over barring after we tell them. I also don't really get along with my sister in laws and don't feel like the whole fake congratulations. Another reason why I'm just not interested in announcing is that his whole family is making it so difficult to have them over. I asked them all to come over to our house to celebrate my husband's birthday and they constantly have other plans. Anybody else in the same boat??? My mom really wants to share the good news with her friends and I told her she can't until we tell the in laws, so she is patiently waiting.
