ladies I need some advice!

Hey ladies, I have a couple questions. My boyfriend and I have been TTC for over a year and a half and I just now the 22nd got my first period in over a year. I'm out of my fertile window my app says and I have a white discharge, mild cramps, and headaches and nauseous which gets worse specifically at night.. these symptoms have been going on for a couple days! I have never had this before so it makes me wonder when people says it's just ovulation because I haven't experienced this before and just wondering what it could be. Also had a very light spotting a couple days ago.. we had sex before, during and after my period started. I took a cheap 88 cent test last night and it was negative. :( is it too early to be experience pregnancy symptoms?
