trigger but need answers from women who had a miscarra

Had a d&c at end of feb. Still yet to have a period. Bloods are below five now so doctor said they would take at least five weeks from when bloods go down. But on saturday my oh and i where fooling around and i moved and saw both myself and him covered in blood. I tried to shower myself but it literally kept coming away from me, clots etc. But the next day i stopped just as quickly as i started. Its been two days and still nothing. I was hoping that would be my period starting to try again. He was not rough with me and we have had sex plenty times before after d&c with nothing. He is cautious about having sex again.....
