Should I wait for him??

Ok so my boyfriends Mormon and he's gonna go on a 2 year mission in a few months... we're both 18 and have been together for a year and love each other tons. But, we are each other's first relationship, so I guess my guestion is should I promise to wait for him? Or see other people while he's gone and possibly get back together when he returns once I see what else is out there? Or is there another option??

I don't think it's all that.... realistic... to see other people and then jump right back into the relationship when he gets back. If you love him, wait. I know it will be hard, but relationships are not easy. It's up to you though.

Being a missionary myself, I would want my honey to wait for me. It's all up to you, but if you really love him the way you say, you'll wait. Love doesn't take breaks because of a little distance. It'll only hurt him knowing you're with someone because he's out doing something that he loves. It's up to you.

He might agree that it would be for the best because of the time away from each other but don't be surprised that he doesn't want to reconnect once he returns.
