nursing while pregnant?!

Just found out I'm pregnant again and my 13 month old still nurses when she wakes up and before bed. Will this affect pregnancy or nursing

I've nursed through 2 pregnancies and tandem nursed after both. Currently ttc while nursing my 14 month old. I never totally lost supply. But did see big dips at some points. But both times we made it through fine and tandem nursing was a great experience.

You'll likely lose your milk as it's based on hormones and there's no way to keep up supply. Talk to your dr. I breastfed until about 15/16 weeks. I was basically dry nursing for her comfort but it became too painful and I had to stop.

I'm still breastfeed my almost 13 month old and I'm 17 weeks pregnant. A lot of people say you lose your milk but I haven't had any problems. I still have let downs and she is really dependent on nursing right now. The only problem is my sensitive nipples.

I had a misscarriage while breastfeeding and resented everybody who "warned me". It made me paranoid and stressed after. While I do not think that was the cause, I did have to stop after because my body was literally struggling + hormones decreased milk supply. Trying to recover physically/emotionally while chasing a new walker and revamp my milk was taking me out. Breastfed my baby until 10 months. Once I was healthy again I was also pregnant... again. So hoping I can nurse #2 for a full year.

A lot of moms start out in plans to tandem but are unable to due to low supply or sensitive nipples. So they end up weaning. As pp stated Kellymom has a good post, just search tandem nursing out.
