Anyone else have vitex fail?

Anyone else have an irregular period and tried vitex and it didn't work?! I hear so many vitex success stories but it's not working for me!!! On CD 49 tomorrow and been on vitex for 7 weeks 😩. I thought it was working because after 5 days on it it gave me a period after going over three months without. Should I keep going with it or give up?!

I would keep taking it! On natural fertility info she suggests you take it for at least 3 months before you'll see a change

Pretty sure I'm having this same problem right now...started vitex on CD 1 for the first time and now on Cd 40 and thought I'd ovulated. Bbt stayed high for 7 days and then has been zig zagging up and down all over the place with no signs of af on the way! So confused and thinking vitex may be the cause. Not sure if I want to stay on it or stop and see if af comes.

It depends. How many mg are you taking? If it is less than 1,000 you probably wont notice much of a difference. It does take a little while to get into your system enough for you to notice a change but if you are taking lets say 450mg per day it's not enough to make an impact. I would suggest if you are not taking 1,000 already to up the dose. Also, make sure to take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach if you aren't already doing that :)
