That you're buying a pregnancy test? One time, a cashier said to me "Ohhh, how exciting, yes, my daughter is due any day now. I am waiting for the call!". I smiled politely. I didn't end up being pregnant. I wish cashiers wouldn't say anything about it!

I'm a cashier, and I keep it strictly business. We keep ours behind the counter, so customers have to ask. I just ask which brand they prefer and leave it at that. Sometimes they'll open up about excitement or praying it's negative. I usually base my response on them..if they say nothing, I say nothing!

One time I was buying some tests for the hell of it, and I grabbed a bottle of wine (because why not) and the cashier said "mm interesting combination". I was so annoyed.
